Der Jude ist Schwein?

Some writers and animal rights groups have drawn a comparison between the treatment of animals and the Holocaust. [1] The comparison is regarded as controversial, and has been criticized by organizations that campaign against anti-Semitism, including the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. [2] The ADL has written that the increasing use of Holocaust imagery by animal rights activists is a "disturbing development." [3]

Roberta Kalechofksy of Jews for Animal Rights argues that, although there is "connective tissue" between animal suffering and the Holocaust, they "fall into different historical frameworks, and comparison between them aborts the ... force of anti-Semitism. [4]

I stand with the reactionary ADL on this one. What's next? Grass blade holocaust? Things must die so that we may live. What we owe them is to kill without malice. Humanity would be much better served making comparisons to ongoing genocide in rawanda and sudan instead of this nonsense with the baby ducks and the puppies.

Never again will the jewish people be systematically exterminated by the german government. Genocide, however, will continue unabated and without the knowledge or concern of most of the world.

One humorous example of chutzpah is often given as follows: "A boy is on trial for murdering his parents, and he begs of the judge leniency because he is an orphan."

How can you hate a culture that gave us that?
