People Who Wear Glasses Should Be Careful About Throwing Away Civilization

John Zerzan (born 1943) is an American anarchist and primitivist philosopher and author. His works criticise (agricultural) civilization as inherently oppressive, and advocate drawing upon the ways of life of prehistoric humans as an inspiration for what a free society should look like. Some of his criticism has extended as far as challenging domestication, language, symbolic thought (such as mathematics and art) and the concept of time. His four major books are Elements of Refusal (1988), Future Primitive and Other Essays (1994), Against Civilization: A Reader (1998) and Running on Emptiness (2002).

While it's true she's very stupid, it's also true she has a great rack and is into chicks.

Blair represented Montana in the Miss Teen USA 2006 pageant held in Palm Springs, California on August 15, 2006, and became the first woman from Montana to place in the pageant. Outgoing titleholder Allie LaForce of Ohio crowned Blair as the new Miss Teen USA. Melissa Lingafelt of North Carolina placed first runner-up. Prior to Blair's win in the nationally televised pageant, Montana had been the only state in the competition's 23 year history never to have had a semi-finalist.

Blair's win was somewhat controversial because during the last phase of the competition, which is the basis for the judges' final ranking of contestants, her answer to the final interview question struck some observers as incorrect.[citation needed] Asked by judge Carl Lewis to describe what integrity meant to her, Blair responded that to her the term meant an all-out ambition to achieve her goals.[2] The other contestants adequately answered questions regarding their opinions on a wide variety of topics, such as the driving age and teen image issues.[citation needed]

In December 2006, Blair was the subject of publicity when she and Miss USA 2006, Tara Conner, were rumored to have been publicly intoxicated along with Miss Universe 2006, Zuleyka Rivera, on Rivera's birthday. A source also claimed that Conner and Blair had kissed and danced on the table in a sexual manner.[6] This led to speculation Conner would be stripped of her crown, and that Blair too might suffer disciplinary action. However On December 19, 2006, Donald Trump announced that Conner would retain her title while entering substance abuse treatment.[1]

The name "bikini contest" may be misleading in that the contestants are not actually contesting the bikini itself. Rather, the competition revolves around a subjective assessment of the physical attractiveness of the participants, which may or may not involve the actual bikinis they wear and/or remove during the "competition."
